The wafer type dual plate check valves are a compact kind of check valve. It can be mounted directly between flanges and in accordance to many standard connections. The body is made in one piece only, in cast steel. The automatic mechanism of plate opening grants low water losses, and the spring avoids fluid hammer effect.
